Origins
Chris, who is played by Jesse McCartney is the younger brother of Paul (Jonathan Sadowski). It is assumed that they both grew up together in the United States. Eventually Paul moved to Europe, specifically the Ukraine and Chris has lived in the United States ever since.
Personality & Plot Development
Chris is an all up-beat guy who is going to see his brother Paul in the Ukraine with Natalie (Olivia Taylor Dudley), who he plans to propose to in Moscow, Russia, and Amanda (Devin Kelley). After going out for a night of drinking with Paul, Natalie, and Amanda. He is convinced to go on an "extreme tourism" trip by Paul. Chris is one of the first to have eerie feelings about the tour and (ironically) is the first person to be injured (besides Yuri, who is killed). Being unable to walk after the leg injury he sustained, he is forced to stay in the van. Eventually, while Paul, Amanda, Michael, and Zoey (Ingrid Bolsø Berdal) are out searching for new wires for the van, Chris and Natalie (who stayed behind to look after Chris) are attacked by the mutants and the van is destroyed. Chris and Natalie are then taken by the mutants and the ultimate fate of Chris is unknown.
